DESCRIPTION

L-Threonine is an indispensable amino acid as well as the third limiting amino acid in most poultry and swine diets [beyond Lysine and Methionine]. The commercial introduction and use of feed grade L-Threonine has provided nutritionists with a tool that allows them to economically balance dietary protein and meet the amino acid requirements of today’s high-yielding livestock.

Since the commercialization of feed grade L-Threonine, Ajinomoto Animal Nutrition North America, Inc. has improved the quality of L-Threonine through granulation. Granulated L‐Threonine offers superior flowability and less dust – two key value-added properties that are desired when supplementing an essential nutrient at the feed mill.
